Our pioneering hydrotherapy suites feature underwater treadmills, which until now were only available for elite athletes and premiership football teams. Tailored training programmes provide all the benefits of exercise without putting stress on joints, making this ideal for post-surgery or injury rehabilitation and people with conditions such as arthritis. Manual therapy is central to our practice as taking a ‘hands on’ approach is effective in restoring mobility and function, and also reducing pain in joints and the surrounding tissue. Our experience has shown that a thorough assessment followed by extensive manual therapy produces more profound results.

Sports Massage

Sports massage helps improve flexibility and mobility within your muscles and surrounding soft tissue, and breaks down scar tissue so muscles work more effectively. This form of massage can also help increase circulation and remove of metabolic waste, while reducing pain and relaxing your muscles.

Cryotherapy is used to cool down specific areas of the body which have been affected by injury to aid recovery of the tissues and joints. To achieve this we have the latest advanced technology, currently used by premiership football teams. The Game Ready device provides specific cuffs for each joint and combines effective cooling and compression.

Laser Therapy

Laser therapy uses light to penetrate through the skin, deep into the tissues. It has been scientifically-proven to ease pain, reduce inflammation and bruising, increase blood flow, stimulate wound healing, stimulate tissue regeneration, and reduce scarring. This non-invasive treatment is used for a wide range of conditions including arthritis, back pain, sciatica and more.

Shockwave Therapy

Shockwave therapy delivers a radial shockwave through the surface of the skin, initiating an inflammation-like response in the injured tissue and accelerating the healing process. This therapy is effective in treating chronic, persistent or recurring painful conditions of the musculoskeletal system, particularly those involving tendons and ligaments.

Magnet Therapy

Developed using the same magnetic resonance technology that has provided the most detailed and high-resolution imaging (MRI) for decades, these devices are now used to treat bone and joint conditions. It is effective in alleviating pain naturally and stimulating bone and cartilage renewal with the lowest possible impact on the body and no side effects or pain.
